Workshop in Golan Heights, from 27.06.2012 till 01.07.2012.
Artists from Sweden and Golan.
A workshop organized with the Art Academy / Umea, Sweden. The workshop took place in the Center’s gallery space of Mudarris center of Art and culture / Majdal Shams and brought together artists from the occupied Golan and Sweden. In the first part of the workshop the participant artists presented and discussed their works over five days. In the second part they worked in groups produce experimental beginnings of works around three themes: reality, figurative, and the public space. "Artists and works from different cultural and political environment speak to each other."
Artists from Sweden:
Johan Österholm, Prof. Ingo Vetter, Lola Carlander, Jens Lindquist, Anna Johansson, Martha Persson, Ingrid Klintskog, IdaPersson, Tatiana Novikova, Madelaine Sillfors.
Artists from Golan:
Shada Safadi, Wael Tarabeh, Randa Mdah, Akram Al Halabi, Mais Safadi, Duha Abu Saleh, Salama Safadi, Fahed Halabi, and the writer Dr. Monir fakhr Aldin.

فاتح المدرس
استضاف مركز فاتح المدرس مجموعة فنانين من
أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة من مدينة اوميو/ السويد. من تاريخ 27.06.2012 حتى
01.06.2012. باشراف البروفيسور "انجو فاتير". وامتدت ورشة العمل لـ 5
ايام تخللها جولات للتعرف على الجولان المحتل, والتعرف على فنانين من الجولان من
خلال عرض أعمال الفنانين المحليين والضيوف.
أتسمت النقاشات التى أعقبت تقديم كل فنان لأعماله,
طابع أكاديمي, وتركزت في 3 محاور أساسية
تبحث في معنى: الواقعية , التشكيل, والحيز العام, واتقاطعات والتمايزات بين أعمال
منتجة في السويد كثقافة في بيئة أوروبية وأعمال منتجة في الجولان كثقافة تحت
الاحتلال. تكمن أهمية هذه الورشة بكونها لقاء تأسيسي لبناء علاقة مستقبلية بين
مركز فاتح المدرس وأكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في أوميو/ ألسويد
